LA roadster show 2008

As tradition follows in Southern California car culture the La Roadster show happened on Father’s Day weekend this year. Didn’t seem to be as big of a turnout this year but was still a great show. The LA Roadster show is probably the biggest Hot Rod Show during the summer in Southern California.

Even though it carries the name LA Roadster show it isn’t always just roadsters. It offers everything from muscle cars to every hot rod imaginable. The LA Roadster show offers several elements to the show, you have the swap meet section were you can find everything from complete cars to parts and pieces you might need, to things you don’t need. There were some bargains to be found this year and lots of stuff to choose from. But to browse through all the Roadster would make any car guy drool. Cars with full blown V8’s to stock restored cars. The LA Roadster show has just about every vendor that deals with the Hot Rod and Muscle car industry there.

Then in the main showcase area of the LA Roadster show there were several Hot Rod artists this year, Max Grundy, James Owens, Mike Miernik, Tom Fritz and Dwayne Vance and a few others. Some really great artwork to look at and buy. If you have a studio or a garage that needs the wall filled up check these guys out.
